NSF ATE Cyber Fellows

Help Grow our Local Cybersecurity Workforce!

Applications are being accepted for the 2023 K-12 Cyber Teaching Fellows Grant Third Cohort! If you have always wanted to get into Cybersecurity and introduce it to your classes effectively, this is your chance! If you are a middle or High School K-12 teacher in the state of North Carolina, you are eligible to participate in this Certificate program. Because of increased interest, we have expanded the program!

Those chosen will be able to obtain the following:

*Complete the Forsyth Tech IT-Cybersecurity Certificate in 2 Semesters completely online and at no cost to you (Tuition, Books and all school-related fees are covered)

*Mentored throughout the program by Cybersecurity professionals

*Attend a National Cybersecurity Conference at no cost to you (Required)

*Obtain training and a voucher for the CompTIA Security+ Certification

*Receive a $500 stipend upon graduation and completion of the program

*Eligible to become Adjunct Faculty for Forsyth Tech in the IT-Cybersecurity Program.
