Help Grow our Local Cybersecurity Workforce!

Applications are being accepted for the 2024 K12 Cyber Teaching Fellows Grant Fourth Cohort! If you have always wanted to get into Cybersecurity and introduce it to your classes effectively, this is your chance! If you are a Middle or High School K-12 CTE teacher in the state of North Carolina, you are eligible to participate in this Certificate program. Because of increased interest, we have expanded the program for one more year with limited spots! If you have participated in the previous cohorts, you are not eligible to participate in this cohort.

Those chosen will be able to obtain the following:

*Complete the Forsyth Tech IT-Cybersecurity Certificate in 2 Semesters completely online and at no cost to you (Tuition, Books, and all school-related fees are covered)

*Attend a National Cybersecurity Conference at no cost to you (In July – Hi-TEC or December 9-10 – NICE K-12 Conference- San Antonio – Limited Spots)

*Obtain training and a voucher for the CompTIA Security+ Certification

*Receive a $500 stipend upon graduation and completion of the program

*Eligible to become Adjunct Faculty for Forsyth Tech in the IT-Cybersecurity Program

*Eligible to participate in the Forsyth Tech SOC Lab Scholarship – Training in a REAL SOC Lab for 3 months.
