Security Basics – Presented by Dr. Mark Ciampa

Participants discussed best methods for use of Security+ in the classroom including teaching methods, Security+ in context, a glimpse into new exam topics, and previews of new Security+ textbooks and hand on lab tutorials.

Security Analytics – Presented by Jim Pierson and Melisa “Joey” Bryant

Participants were immersed into analytics terminology, concepts, and visualization. Participants then used the knowledge that they gained to participate and present findings during an analytics hands-on activity focused on discovery of security trend and issues and then discussed incorporation of the subject matter into courses and standalone modules.
