The Davis iTEC Cybersecurity Center offers tours and Cybersecurity Exploration to various grade levels and organizations.
GEAR UP w/ WSSU
Forsyth Tech has hosted several events for GEAR UP in conjunction with WSSU.
“The Gear Up Grant will impact about 16,000 middle school through college students in three counties over a seven-year period. The county school systems involved include Forsyth, Guilford, and Rutherford in collaboration with Forsyth Technical Community College and Isothermal Technical Community College.”
The Davis iTEC Cybersecurity Center has participated in Forsyth Tech’s FOCUS events for the past few years. This even invites all rising juniors and seniors in Forsyth and Stokes County and learn about our various programs.
The Davis iTEC Cybersecurity Center has done Tours with Davidson/Davie County Community College and Davie County ESL students.
We have worked with West Stokes High School and have taught Cybersecurity courses on their campus. This helped students see cybersecurity as an avenue after High school.
