Students from Winston Salem/Forsyth County elementary schools stopped by the Davis iTEC Cybersecurity Center while touring the campus to listen to Department Chair Dr. Deanne Wesley teach about technology and play a fun round of “Cyber Jeopardy.” Program coordinator Jim Pierson, discussed hardware, networking, and even drones to expose some of the county’s youngest learners to security and IT programs offered by Forsyth Tech Community College.

Rachel Bishop, a fifth-grade teacher at South Fork Elementary School said, “For a lot of the students, this is their first time on a college campus. It’s important that they know that there are opportunities out there.”
