Security Operations Center Training Scholarship
Forsyth Tech’s Cybersecurity Center is thrilled to offer an exclusive scholarship for Davis iTEC students currently enrolled in any of our programs. This scholarship provides three months of intensive training, focusing on Security Operations Center (SOC) practices.

Hands-On Experience: As a scholarship recipient, you’ll gain practical, hands-on experience in a real SOC environment. You’ll work as a Tier 1 Analyst, actively creating tickets for any identified malicious activity within the system.
Immediate Impact: Upon completing the onboarding process, you’ll dive right into defending critical infrastructure partner networks. You’ll monitor live, production environments, contributing directly to cybersecurity efforts.

Requirements:
- Must be in a Davis iTEC program of study
- Must have taken CCT 110 or SEC 110 with a C or better
- Must have an interest in securing the internet
- 3.0 or Higher GPA
- Must submit a resume specifically for this position
- Must submit a supporting Cover Letter for this position
- Must interview Face-to-Face to be considered
- Must be able to commit 3 months to the program
- Must report to Fourth Floor SOC Lab (418) at least 36 hours in 3 months. (3 hours a week)
- Must complete 10 tickets a month on the system.
- Must present a report on your findings once a month.
- Must complete bi-weekly check-ins to keep up with your progress. (Complete a Form)
